We all come from different places. Different backgrounds. Different body types. And at the end (or middle, or beginning) of wildly different days we come together for one common reason - this sh*t feels GOOD. Ok, so sometimes it’s really hard, classes are challenging, your thighs may want to die. You may resent the friend who brought you here and fantasize about defenestrating your instructor... But at the end of class, you feel better. You’ve worked the crazy out, and cleared out the proverbial cobwebs. At the end of a few classes you feel better all over.  Before long you are stronger, more coordinated, and confident in your body and your movements. 

TEMPLE+TRIBE is a gathering place for great people. People who like to work hard, groove to rowdy music, and laugh often.

The experience is part grace, part grit.

The TribeMETHOD is body weight based training system developed by studio founder Ranier Wood. Drawing on her lifetime as a dancer and 16 years as a movement coach and personal trainer, Ranier originally developed TribeMETHOD as a form of cross training for dancers. Since then it has evolved into a popular and effective workout for anybody wanting a body that's both strong and graceful.

TribeMETHOD: BARRE uses a custom-welded ballet barre and a precise series of movements to create lean dense musculature that is both fiercely strong and elegantly flexible. Those who are used to other barre methods may find ours to incorporate a few larger and more dynamic movements, in addition to small focused movements which combined result in a body that is graceful and athletic (and sexy).

We want you to not just look good naked, we want you to move well too...

TribeMETHOD: STRAPS uses the RIP60 suspension training system (similar to the TRX straps) to build strength, challenge the cardiovascular system, increase coordination, and improve balance. It is a fun and intense workout that challenges the core throughout and teaches the joints to stabilize during movement. STRAPS is a beautiful complement to barre, and amazing cross training for a variety of sports.

TEMPLE+TRIBE is now also offering erotic dance and weekly vinyasa yoga classes to further balance out the TRIBE’s bodies. After a few years of going hard, and squeezing everything, we found that many of our bodies were craving something a little softer, a little more...’yin’.

 In the (women only) FLOOR classes, instructor Jessica Chavez, holds space for women to drop into their bodies and explore their sensual and sexy sides. Taught with humor and grace, these classes are a safe haven for erotic movement and play, and a fun way to learn new ways to move and just ‘be’ in your body. 

TRIBEYOGA classes are precise, challenging, and nourishing to body and sprit. Taught in a signature vinyasa style, these classes are a great way to stretch out and tune in, clearing the stress of daily life and the lactic acid from your muscles.

TEMPLE+TRIBE is designed to be used comprehensively as a body/spirit system. While Tribers tend to find their favorite classes and covet them, we encourage you to try them all and mix it up!
